Giant’s Rib Escarpment Education Network’s (GREEN) Waterfall of the Month for February 2017 is Thomas Falls.
Thomas Falls is located on private property in the Stoney Creek section of Hamilton west of Fifty Road and below the Bruce Trail.
Thomas Falls is also known as West of Fifty Lower Falls. It has a height of 3.8m (12 ft.) and a crest width of 4.3m (14 ft.) and is considered a Classic type waterfall. This waterfall does dry up, having flow mainly after a rainfall or during the winter snow melt.
As Thomas Falls (West of Fifty Lower Falls) is located on private property, you are advised not to trespass there but instead, just enjoy the attached picture of Thomas Falls.
