Hiking the Dundas Valley
Hikes in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area run scheduled Saturdays at 10AM. Hike leaders will be on hand to guide visitors along the Main Loop Trail and interpret several features of the Dundas Valley and the Niagara Escarpment World Biosphere Reserve. Guests are free to visit the Discovery Centre and see fossil displays, taxidermy, Arts and Photography Series and video displays, or peruse the Niagara Escarpment library. Hiking the Red Hill Valley
Hikes at Albion Falls along the rim of the Red Hill Valley run scheduled Sundays at 12:30 p.m. Learn all about the Niagara Escarpment World Biosphere Reserve, its flora and fauna, visit one of Hamilton’s best waterfalls and enjoy one of the largest valley systems in Hamilton. This new program expansion brings our guided interpretive hikes to the Halton Region, this year beginning with Crawford Lake Conservation Area. Our guided hikes here are held on scheduled Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. New and exciting locations will be added to this program as we expand.
